Hi there and welcome to my website.

If you are familiar with who I am you already know my story so far, but if you are not here’s a little more about me.

I am single, and live with my Persian cat Winifred in a fabulous apartment in an inner city suburb. I enjoy most things that single women my age enjoy and, if you are a fan of Sex and the City
(which I obviously am), you know that includes friends, fine dining, relaxation, shopping and of course…shoes!

The idea behind this site is to incorporate discussion not only about those things, but also to help you create a lifestyle that can comfortably afford them, as well as a secure financial future.

Who wouldn’t want to be able to enjoy shopping and lifestyle, whilst still being aware that planning for the future is important too?

Well the people that I have been studying have all that …and more. And how do you become successful? Easy….by copying successful people. Yes, that’s right. You know how your teachers in school were always telling you it was wrong to copy other people. Well guess what?
They were wrong!!!

By studying other people you can learn not only what they did right, but also what they did wrong, thereby cutting down on the amount of time you would spend making mistakes. You would be surprised how much information wealthy and successful people give away freely. And that
is because one of the secrets is “you must first give before you can receive”.

ALL truly successful people subscribe to this theory. And you will find that it has worked for them not only in the past but as they continue to practice this on ongoing basis, it continues to add to their success now and in the future.

So how do you do this? How can you put this simple theory into practice right now? Again it’s easy. Ask yourself everyday “how may I serve”. This simple change of state from “what’s in it for me?” will bring about enormous reward almost straight away. You will be amazed at how people will respond to you. And how they will remember. I’m not saying you should do it solely to reap future rewards because then your actions would lack sincerity. You should do it because you want to. The rewards will just come. Go on try it. Start now. Give, give, give. You will learn
to enjoy it. And the universe will remember.

It’s my challenge to you for the next week. Go forth and give. I’m not talking about money, although I’m sure many charities would appreciate that. I am talking about time, consideration, empathy, patience (something I need to work on), understanding and acknowledgment. When you take the time to recognise people, they will respond, and you will be amazed at how good it makes you both feel.

Slow down and look around. Everyone is hurtling through their lives at amazing speed, most of them unaware of the impact they have on those around them. If you stop and take the time to see from their perspective it will make you realise “we are all in this together”. So next time that crazy driver goes through a red light, or cuts you off, instead of being annoyed and angry feel sorry for them. If their life is obviously so out of control and their need to get to their destination 30 seconds earlier is apparently so great that they are willing to risk their own life and others, then they truly deserve our sympathy.

As some of you know I went to a Tony Robbins seminar a couple of weeks ago and one of the things that blew me away with Tony was not his motivation speeches, but his obvious empathy and love for people. Completely against my expectations he was not “some cheesy American” but a truly warm and compassionate individual. It made me more aware of my own behavior and selfishness and I made a commitment to change. And I have to say it feels really good.

So check out some of Tony Robbins speaking about why people do what they do. Its on this site as both a video and an audio file. And let me know what you think.

Till next time, here’s to your success.
Sharon (and Winifred)
